A woman identified as Giwa Ayoka Sikirat was arrested by NDLEA officersz at murtala mohammed airport some days ago after she was caught with cocaine that was carefully concealed in her wig.
The 53 year old grandmother was about to board a flight to Pakistan when a female officer approached her and carried out a full body search. The officer discovered 1 kilogramme of a white powdery susbstance later discovered to be cocaine.
According to a statement released by the NDLEA,
“The suspect, Giwa Ayoka Sikirat concealed the drug in her beautiful hair style while trying to board an Ethiopian airline Flight ET 910 to Pakistan enroute Addis Ababa and Dubai,”She was arrested alongside a 59 year old man, Umunna Joseph, who is suspected to be her accomplice because he brought her to the airport. Sikirat is a Kwara state indigene.
