The journey was not easy and according to her, it took about two years of perseverance and hardwork for the business to take off. To raise money for her business, she sold most of her possessions. She soon ran out of money and experienced multiple challenges along the way including a robbery incidence on her way to Ondo State to secure a partnership deal for the company.
She had no money to pay her staff and most of her early employees worked with her based on her passion and ultimate vision for the company.
Today, her company saves lives by providing much needed air ambulance services to West Africans in need. From doing one flight every three months in the early days, her company now does two to three flights a week.
Fun fact: Not only is she a medical doctor, she is a training helicopter pilot!
