It was a bloody afternoon in Lagos State on Sunday when stray bullet shot by some unidentified Armed Robbers reportedly hit a six year-old girl in the eye and also hit her grandmother on her forehead while watching TV in their home at number15, Alfa-Nla, Agege area of Lagos State.
The robbers who took over the area killed several people. In an effort to intercept the robbers, two police officers were reportedly shot before the robbers escaped.
The armed bandits, numbering eight including two women were said to have invaded some parts of Agege in Lagos State, including a “bureau de change” where they killed some foreign currency changers and looted their local and foreign currencies loaded in two bags.
An eyewitness, Tayo Adeyeri who claimed that six people including two currency changers were shot dead by the hoodlums, said they drove in two SUVs, a Toyota Prado and Armada,
However, all efforts to speak with the Lagos State Public Relations Officer [PPRO], Mr. Ngozi Braide prove abortive as he refused to pick his phone calls as at the time of this report.
