PHOTOS:Prince William ‘Furious’ Over Kate Middleton Topless Photo Scandal

Topless pics of Kate Middleton hit the web on September 14 and both the Duchess and Prince William are ‘very angered’ over the leaked photos. The Palace is even considering legal action for the first time ever!

Kate Middleton and Prince William are touring the South Pacific on behalf of the Queen but all focus is about to be shifted to Kate’s topless photo scandal. The couple is reportedly “hurt, shocked, furious and disgusted.”

The photos published by French magazine Closer shows Kate taking off her top, sunbathing topless and William putting lotion on her bare butt!

The couple is “very angered” and say “a red line has been crossed,” reports the Daily Mail.

The photos were taken while William and Kate were on a vacation in France in early September. The romantic couple was staying Chateau D’Autet in Provence, a chateau owned by Lord Linley, the Queen’s nephew.

As the photos continue to circulate, the couple must put on a brave face and smile for the cameras as they continue to tour the South Pacific.

The couple is considering legal action and a spokesman for the couple told the Daily Mail on Sept. 14: “Their sadness has turned to anger and disbelief as we have learnt more about the photographs. We believe a red line has been crossed and we are consulting the French lawyers to see what, if any, action can be taken.”

In addition, Royal aides released an official statement: “Their Royal Highnesses have been hugely saddened to learn that a French publication and a photographer have invaded their privacy in such a grotesque and totally unjustifiable manner. The incident is reminiscent of the worst excesses of the press and paparazzi during the life of Diana, Princess of Wales, and all the more upsetting to The Duke and Duchess for being so. Their Royal Highnesses had every expectation of privacy in the remote house. It is unthinkable that anyone should take such photographs, let alone publish them. Officials acting on behalf of Their Royal Highnesses are consulting with lawyers to consider what options may be available to The Duke and Duchess.”

The couple heard about the news while on their Royal Tour, where they are being constantly photographed. “Duke and the Duchess were told at breakfast and are obviously saddened and disappointed if they are genuine as they believe they have a right to privacy — particularly on holiday,” a senior royal source told Daily Mail.
