Barcelona will face off with arch-rivals Real Madrid for the Liga Clasico of the new season at Camp Nou on October 7 at 19:50CET.
The Spanish giants have already played each other twice this season in the Supercopa, with Tito Vilanova’s men triumphing 3-2 in the first leg, before the champions sealed the silverware on away goals with a 2-1 victory at the Bernabeu.
Catalan giants Barca will be hoping to equal Madrid’s tally of 88 Clasico wins, but the capital club have lost just once in their last three trips to Camp Nou.
Barcelona recently raised their ticket prices, which will make the upcoming clash the most expensive match between the two sides ever.
Luka Modric could make his first Clasico start since his move to Real Madrid from the Premier league, as could Alex Song should he start for Blaugrana.
Barcelona currently sit five points ahead of Jose Mourinho’s side in the Liga standings after taking three wins from as many matches this season.
