Covenant University student commits suicide

Earlier today, celebrity blogger Linda Ikeji published a story where she reported that a Covenant University student committed suicide.
She took down the post almost immediately but the damage had already been done!
Covenant University students were somewhat angry with the report – they claimed that the student drowned and did not commit “suicide” as Linda initially reported, so they took to twitter and vented out their anger via #lindalies – which is presently trending on twitter. Here are some of the tweets:
