A GHOSTLY girl appears out of nowhere in a moving lift, reducing members of the public to quivering wrecks - in one of the most shocking prank videos ever made.
A succession of people are shown arriving at an office building where a secretary leads them into an elevator.
As soon as the door closes, the lights flicker out.
When they come back on the chilling child has appeared from nowhere dressed up like the girl from horror film The Ring, in a white nightie, pale make-up and clutching a doll.
The girl has actually climbed through a secret door in the lift, under the cover of darkness.
When she's spotted, she screams in the subjects' faces, scaring the life out of them - and sending them cowering into the corner of the lift.
Some people pray and others weep while they frantically press buttons in a bid to escape.
The final victim - a middle-aged man - is shown shaking with fear before bolting when the doors open.
The spooky spoof first appeared on Brazilian TV - but has quickly gone viral online, attracting more than one million views in just 48 hours.
