The unpleasant situation forced the Jet to make an emergency landing at Texas from where the rapper was transported to a local hospital to get treatment on Thursday afternoon.
Lil Wayne was at the hospital for several hours, before checking out around 6 PM local time.
The official diagnosis of his conditions is yet to be released but word on the street is that the seizure may be as a result of drug overdose.
The rapper is reported to be recuperating, and doing fine.
