Victim in livery cab shooting dies of his injuries in hospital Wednesday

Nikita Grebelskiy, of Forest Hills, was left brain-dead Saturday after getting shot at point-blank range

Cops lead alleged livery cab shooter Michael Mangnan out of the 63rd precinct.

A 23-year-old livery cab passenger who was shot in the head during a robbery in Brooklyn last week died of his injuries Wednesday, authorities said.

Nikita Grebelskiy, of Forest Hills, was left brain-dead after getting shot at point-blank range while sitting in the back of a cab at the intersection of Utica Ave. and Avenue O about 2:30 a.m. Saturday.

Police say Michael Magnan, 19, tried to rob the driver and passengers and fired off a round that struck Grebelskiy as the cab driver sped away.

Grebelskiy was taken to Kings County Hospital, where his devastated family learned he could not be helped.

Magnan’s relatives denied he shot Grebelskiy, saying he was partying that night at a wedding in Long Island and would have been too drunk to commit the crime.
