Firefighters rescued a boy whose head was stuck in a guardrail hole on Sunday [Aug 12] in Hezhang County, southwest China's Guizhou Province.
The boy put his head through the guardrail hole on a stairway of a local government building and found it got stuck.
After arriving at the scene, firefighters immediately set up a guard line and dispersed the crowd.
Using hydraulic dilating forceps, they expanded the hole while one of them shielded the boy's head from falling debris.
Finally the boy was rescued and joined his grateful grandma after examinations by medical personnel.
