Enugu State Governor is Dead?

There is a sad news coming from Enugu State as multiple sources have confirmed that the executive governor of the state, Sullivan Chime, was feared dead on Saturday.

Credible sources have confirmed that the governor, whose absence from the state has fueled speculations in the last few weeks, passed on at an Indian hospital after battling an undisclosed ailment.

Meanwhile, a correspondent with the Punch, Ozioma Ubabukoh, who's trying to get official confirmation of the Governor's demise was harassed by seven men who claimed to be security agents in front of his apartment in Enugu around 11.45pm on Saturday.

The men seized Ubabukoh’s phone and his laptop in order to stop him from sending stories to the head office. They followed the journalist, Ubabukoh to his apartment and insisted that they won't leaving until 3am so he wouldn't send the story to their head office in Lagos.

It's so sad that many states in Nigeria thrives on lawlessness....
