Gen Buhari Rejects Mediator Role Between FG And Boko-Haram

Recently, terrorist group Boko-haram promised to ceasefire if the Federal Government was willing to accept its conditions and play by its rules.
The group went ahead to name former head of state, Gen Mohammadu Buhari (rtd) as one of the preferred mediators during a proposed negotiation process.
Buhari who spoke to news men in Abuja recently rejected the role, saying that he was not fully in the picture about the sect’s objectives, and that he cannot represent a faceless group. He continued that he does not believe in the violent cause of the Boko-Haram sect.
He also added:
"To me, the Federal Government has lost absolute control of the country’s security..."
A fact that I'm sure any reasonable Nigerian will agree with. Sad.
