CR-OUCH! ... groggy beanpole Stoke striker is helped off
PETER CROUCH was left in a bloody mess after having three teeth smashed out in a sickening clash.
The beanpole striker was accidentally caught by Toon defender Fabricio Coloccini’s arm during Stoke’s 2-1 triumph.
Stoke boss Tony Pulis revealed: “Crouchy wanted to carry on until he saw two of his teeth in club doctor Andrew Dent’s hands.
“Then he nearly fainted! We think there is another tooth lodged in his jaw.”
Pulis refused to point the finger at Coloccini, adding: “I don’t think there was any malice in it.”
Crouch is now a doubt for Saturday’s trip to West Brom
