For those who thought she has reached the peak of her career having secured a spot in the Guiness World record for dancing for 55 hours, dancer, Kafayat Shaffau Ameh, otherwise called Kaffy has confirmed that she has bigger dreams.
Our correspondent met with and had a chat with her recently where she disclosed few of her plans for the future, insisting she is yet to do most of the things she projected 10 years ago when she launched her dance career.
‘I dreamt to be this bigger, this is not how big I wanna be. This is not even how big I dreamt. This is like the world unfolding one layer at a time and I am taking it with a lot of passion, with a lot of force’ she said.
She spoke further about her experience with the Arsenal players who were part of the fitness campaign organised by Malta Guiness. She described the experience as an awesome one, expressing her appreciation for the opportunity to have met and coached them.
‘The effect of the experience hasn’t even dawned on me yet, what I have done. You know when you are just passing through a stage with high supersonic speed, you don’t know what you have done until later, so am still waiting for that effect. I’m an Arsenal fan, for me to have that chance of standing next to and take a picture with them and again having to have them listen to me, coach them. I was almost forming, me sef I wan take picture with them o and before I knew it, one of them came to ask to take a picture with me and I’m like, Oh I’m the star here. It was an awesome experience and I thank God for it’, she said.
Kaffy is presently a mother, wife and an entrepreneur, heading one of the few available dance companies in the country, Imagneto.
