Chris Brown Defends His Neck Tattoo Of Battered Woman

Chris Brown has defended the new inking on his neck of a battered and bruised woman, claiming it's just "art".

The singer caused a stir when he unveiled the new tattoo, with some remarking it was in poor taste in light of his highly-publicized assault on Rihanna in 2009.

The inking has also been widely compared to the photograph of Rihanna's bruised and bloodied face after the infamous incident between the former couple.

Jumping on Twitter, Breezy cleared up the reasoning for the bizarre tat, tweeting: "I'm an artist and this is art. Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead)”.

Well, there's art, and then there's just plain messing around...
