13 ways to step up your life in the year 2013

Years seem to fly by faster than the speed of light.  This year was no exception, since we’re probably still getting accustomed to 2011 (let alone 2012).  But as the years come to an end, we are usually reminded that the following year presents a host of new possibilities.   At Your Black World, our team is committed to celebrating the diversity that is black America, while simultaneously seeking a better, stronger collective reality.

So, in order to commemorate the start of 2013, the YBW team came up with a list of 13 things that black people should do in 2013:

Who wants to see Rihanna's nXXe photos? I gat dem! :-)

by Lindaikeji

Rihanna was in her native country of Barbados last week to spend the holidays with her family. While on the balcony of her hotel with the curtains wide open, Rihanna took off her bikini to put on her underwear. There were paparazzi lurking around (which she was probably aware of) and they zoomed in their camera and captured Rihanna in all her glory.

The nude photos have been released. Wanna see? I have a feeling Rihanna won't mind. Hehe! Find them after the cut...then beg God for forgiveness...:-)

“It would be unwise for any of the governors to leave office with Jonathan still in power given what is turning out to be his ruthlessness. If the governors leave him behind, every one of them that has offended him would find himself in prison within weeks of Jonathan getting a second term.”

D’banj and Big Sean at the Koko Concert, last night

Most hypes don’t live up to their expectation, no one knows why, it just doesn’t happen.

Even the most optimistic of people who attended the Koko Concert at the ‘Eko Atlantic City’ on December 27, 2012 left the vnue fuming or physically too tired to react to the poor turnout of events that took place at the new Eko Atlantic City, off Amadu Bello, Victoria Island.

300 People, Places, Events And Things That Shaped 2012

Facebook billionaire Mark Zuckerberg updated his status to married, 2face finally settled down and Psquare had their best year ever…

2012 was an eventful year but some would say they couldn’t wait for it to end. It was like helplessly watching a time bomb count down, hoping it wouldn’t explode, no thanks to the Mayans…

It was a year of the good, bad and ugly – the many flamboyant weddings, the monumental protest strikes, billions of Instagram photos captured with #filter and the unwanted flood.

Have You Heard About The New Weight Loss Trend called "Cool Sculpting"?

While surfing the net this morning, I came across an article that enlightened me on a new weight loss trend called "CoolSculpting," and thought to share with you my esteemed readers.
